About IPM Exam
The Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) is a 5-year dual-degree program offered by select IIMs for students after Class 12. It blends management, liberal arts, and analytical foundations, shaping students into well-rounded future leaders.
- Eligibility: Class 12 pass with at least 60% (55% for SC/ST/PwD)
- Frequency: Once a year (usually in May/June)
- Mode: Computer-based test (online) across India
- Streams Eligible: All streams
IPM Exam Pattern
IPMAT (Indore) is a 2-hour aptitude test assessing quantitative, verbal, and logical skills. It has three sections, Quantitative Ability and Verbal Ability (MCQ). Other IIMs like Rohtak, Bodh Gaya, and Jammu conduct JIPMAT or their own versions with minor format differences.
- Duration: 120 minutes (IIM Indore IPMAT)
- Question Types: MCQs + Short Answer (for Indore)
- Marking Scheme: +4 for correct, −1 for incorrect (Indore)
- Other Exams: JIPMAT – single paper, 3 sections
